We were one of a handful of guests and yet we had to much avail signal down waiters for any service… a carafe of water had been placed but it took over 20 minutes before we got a glass of wine… and only after we flagged them down. Then after our starters we had to wait over 20 minutes again before after yet again informing team we had finished. Really sub par service. Good was fine, but service goes a long way. I’ve been living in Paris for almost 30 years, speak fluent french and when I ask advice on what I should choose between cold roast beef or tuna tataki I expect more than one is beef one is fish. Sheesh
J’ai beaucoup aimé le dîner. Les plats sont très bons, notamment les légumes en accompagnement sont très biens cuisinés avec beaucoup de de saveurs. Le cadre est sympa, le service est aussi très biens cuisinés. Et j’ai apprécié d’avoir le temps de profiter d’un verre avant que les entrées arrivent. J’ai toujours du mal avec les services trop rapides ou les entrées arrivent alors que je suis toujours en train de boire un apéro
We ate here on June 8, 2025. We were greeted warmly and were offered a table inside or out. (We arrived when they opened, at 7:00, so there were many tables, especially since it was Sunday.)
The staff were all most helpful and attentive, and we enjoyed our entrees quite a bit. As our waiter pointed out - the food was much better than the airline food we had flying that day. We looked at him in wonderment: how did he know we flew in that day?!? He explained that he read in the notes from when I made the reservation online that we would be weary travelers. He read the note, and remembered it, and very cleverly let us know that he knew!
Attention like that you don’t find just anywhere.
